Where do you find Bronze in Hades 2? This essential upgrade material will need to be hunted down if you want to craft the Rod of Fishing and start dredging up creatures from the environment’s watery areas. You’ll need to head to the surface for this material, but where exactly can it be found?
There are many Hades 2 incantations that also call for Bronze, but it takes a few hours of gameplay to unlock the warped gate and head for Olympus. We’ve found the most reliable areas to mine Bronze in Hades 2 and detailed them below, as well as what the material can be used for.
Where to find Hades 2 Bronze
Bronze can be found in Hades 2 by heading to the surface with the Crescent Pick and looking for deposits in the City of Ephyra.
You’ll need to ensure you have the Crescent Pick equipped otherwise you’re unable to mine any metal deposits in any of the areas. To unlock the surface area, you’ll need to cast the Permeation of Witching-Wards incantation at the Cauldron in the Crossroads. You can then find the entrance to the surface opposite the entrance to Erebus.
If you’ve activated the Reagent Sensing incantation by now, you can head to the City of Ephyra through the gap in the wall and a silver trail will lead you to any harvestable reagents, materials, or deposits that are around. Press RB/R1 to mine the Bronze when you find it. It presents like a large pile of, well, bronze, so it’s not easy to miss. You’ll get three Bronze from each deposit you mine.
If you’re heading to the surface for the first time you might find that Melinoë’s Underworld curse makes your stay very short – in this case, run towards the deposits as quickly as you can. To extend your stay, you’ll need to cast the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation which will remove the curse and allow Melinoë to make longer trips to the surface.
