Does Star Wars Outlaws have new game plus? Open-world games aren’t usually associated with replayability – players tend to take a more completionist view of the world compared to a linear A to B experience. This hasn’t stopped people from wondering whether Star Wars Outlaws will allow players to replay the story, with the benefits of new game plus.
The Star Wars Outlaws release date is approaching at light speed, and players are already wondering what happens when you finish the story in the adventure game. New game plus is a great way to breathe life into subsequent playthroughs, but does Star Wars Outlaws have NG+ at launch?
Does Star Wars Outlaws have new game plus?
Star Wars Outlaws will not have new game plus at launch, as confirmed by Julian Gerighty, creative director at Massive Entertainment.
When asked about NG+ in a recent interview with YouTuber Azzatru, here’s what Geright had to say: “There is no new game plus mode. I think it’s an amazing idea, so it may be something we investigate post-launch.” If the open world game eventually added NG+, it would likely allow you to keep all of your Outlaws speeder upgrades, and Trailblazer upgrades, so you could hit the ground running (figuratively speaking).
After finishing the campaign in Star Wars Outlaws, Geright also confirmed that players will have access to the entire open world. This will give you the opportunity to complete side quests and continue exploring, a fairly standard affair for games of this nature.
