How do you upgrade your Star Wars speeder? No jaunt around a planet in Star Wars is complete without a speeder bike. Made famous by Luke and Leia in Return of the Jedi as they raced around the Forest Moon of Endor, they’ve been a staple ever since. Thankfully, Kay also has access to a speeder in Star Wars Outlaws, and even better, you can upgrade it throughout your journey.

Star Wars Outlaws speeder upgrades

You can upgrade your speeder by visiting a speeder mechanic. Here are the four aspects of your speeder that can be upgraded:

  • Engine – determines how fast your speeder can go.
  • Handling – how well your speeder handles when moving and how well it can dodge.
  • Armor – how much damage your speeder can take.
  • Landing Repulsor – how well your speeder can handle landing from a height.

Here is every Star Wars Outlaws speeder upgrade we know about and how much they cost:

Engine

  • Moll K-19 Power Generator: Standard speeder engine for basic performance.
  • Moll K-19T Power Generator: Increases the rate of engine acceleration.
    • Cost: 500 Credits
    • 5 Silvian Iron
    • 2 Accu-Accelerator
  • Moll K-20 Power Generator: Increases engine top speed.
    • Cost: Unknown

Handling

  • Central Poise Steering System: Standard steering system with basic maneuverability.

Armor

  • Duralumin Chassis: Standard chassis for protecting internal components.
  • Durasteel Chassis: Increases damage resistance for the speeder.
    • Cost: 500 Credits
    • 5 Polycarbonate
    • 5 Helicyclic Gears
  • Enhanced Durasteel Chassis: Greatly increases damage resistance for the speeder.
    • Cost: Unknown

Landing Repulsor

  • Standard Speeder Repulsor System: Can be upgraded to better handle landings.
  • Speeder Landing Repulsor: Reduces damage from hard landings and provides a short burst of speed on perfect landings.
    • Cost: 1000 Credits
    • 15 Durasteel
    • 8 Direct-Energy Circuit
    • 1 H-M Engine Power Core

There are also various cosmetic changes you can make to your speeder, including paint jobs, trinkets, and trophies. These can also be unlocked and applied at the Speeder Mechanic.
