BILOXI, MS (WLOX) – Four men from Tampa, Florida are in jail after allegedly using counterfeit credit cards and fake Florida IDs to get several thousand dollars in cash advance at a casino from Biloxi.

Biloxi Police said the false pretense crime report came from the Hard Rock Casino shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Investigator Steve Schlicht said that after he was suspected of being discovered at the box office, Ricardo Martinez, 34, Pedro Moreno-Perez, 28, William Lienz-Machado, 30, and Jose Lopez-Arca, 37 , left the casino in a car. Response officers stopped the vehicle on Interstate-110 with any incident.

Schlicht said investigators found several fake ID and credit cards as well as $ 7,000 in cash. The investigation found that the men had already gone to the casino and received money using the same scheme.

Schlicht said each man was charged with false pretense and given $ 100,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing.
