Frosted Flakes: Baseball Monday, UFOs, and How Much is Enough?

Good morning all! I’m a little late in bringing you this daily dose of work procrastination, so there is no ranch story today. Above all, I’m just as excited as all of you that the Husker baseball team forced a seventh game in the Fayetteville Regional and have a chance to qualify for a Super Regional.

The big scenario for both teams will revolve around pitching. That can? Who’s gonna do it?

Both teams will likely rely on multiple guys to complete nine innings. Nebraska could recall Cade Povich at the mound after throwing less than 50 pitches on Friday. Shay Schanaman, capable of pitching seven innings in Sunday’s opener, is even more important now, as he’s likely saved up some guns for tonight. Arkansas played one game less than the Huskers in that region, so there may be an advantage for the Razorbacks there.

Either way, Will Bolt’s team has the attention of college baseball fans everywhere.

Go big red!
