The times remain higher than normal. -Erik Dean

Looks like Mother Nature is giving us a nice treat for Halloween!

DISCUSSION: Wow! What beautiful days through the Coulee area. Our average high for this time of year is 55°. and we have been well above that with highs in the 60s. The downside is that we still need precipitation. The good news is that we have a chance of rain on 8-Day.

FIRST ALERT FORECAST: When you wake up in the morning, temperatures in the 30s and 40s will greet you. The mid-to-upper 30s will be the rule from Eau Claire to Volk Field, Boscobel and Prairie du Chien. Quarantine will be Decorah’s rule at Winona & Red Wing.

SKYTRACKER: Tonight we will see clear skies which will make for a beautiful Saturday evening in the Coulee area. If you have plans for the evening, temps will be in the upper 40s – lower 50s by 7pm. As we head into 11pm, temperatures will be in the upper mid 40s.

Expect high temperatures tomorrow
MAXIMUM SUNDAY: Take a look at those highs, how about the low again in the mid-60s. Boscobel will hit 66. Decorah and Eau Claire will reach 62 years. La Crosse will turn 63.

8 days afternoon
8-DAY FORECAST: Well, the good news is that Halloween is shaping up to be a nice “treat” from Mother Nature if you will. By Wednesday, we will be exceptionally warm with highs flirting with 70°. This trend will continue on Thursday before another front works its way through. This will do two things; first, it will bring the temperature down with highs in the 50s and 60s. The second thing it will do is increase the chance of rain from Thursday evening through Sunday.

Enjoy your evening!
